I have completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science, and am currently completing my Honours in Psychology, with plans to progress to a Masters program.
I am passionate about all things creative - writing and playing music, painting and drawing, sewing and designing. I like to use different forms of art to express myself and seek new skills through them.
I grew up on a small farm, and from that my love for the environment has grown and flourished. Connecting with nature has been one of my favourite ways to help with my own lived experience with mental health issues.
My goal in life is to support people in living their best, unique life, as a healthy and happy life looks different for all of us. I believe in using a possibility approach, that validates experiences and ideas, encourages new perspectives, and seeks to access a person’s unique strengths and resources.

Growing up, I never really had parental figures growing up and that was hard since I never had someone to stay strong for me when I wasn’t. After my own battle with mental health I’ve been able to teach myself how to be happy and love who I am and be able to make the best decisions that will take me where I want to go in life. Supporting those with disabilities and their own mental health challenges is my priority to help them live their best lives and to be empowered to make their own decisions that impact their lives.
I love being outside and connecting with nature. I believe this heals and energises. It gives us a greater connectedness to ourselves.
I am confident in my ability to be a healthy role model, someone to rely on, but most importantly, just be there for them in the good times and the bad.

Hello, my name is Kylie and I am a passionate individual with a drive to make a positive impact in my community. Currently, I am studying Community Services Cert 111 and I am determined to utilize my knowledge and skills to help those in need. However, my passion does not stop there. I am also a published author with a love for writing and reading. In fact, I have published twelve of my own books and have helped over 812 students find their creative flare, confidence, and joy in reading and writing through my work as a publisher. My main focus is working with school students, mentoring and guiding them through the creative writing process to publish their stories in printed anthologies. Through this, I have been able to publish 18 school anthologies and showcase the amazing talents of young writers. My ultimate goal is to inspire others to find their passion for writing and make a positive impact through their words.

I am an Enrolled Nurse with a passion for mental health, and nursing interventions specifically in mental health.
I've worked as a support worker and recently started working in aged care. I have learned more and more everyday about the challenges my clients face,
I then realised that the support they may need sometimes can be a nice chat and a nice walk in the park.
I am very passionate to bring positivity to people. I am patient and I enjoy to have a nice and steady pace with my clients. I am thrilled to meet with new people, and to share their challenges and to help their day to be a bit brighter.”

I am currently pursuing my Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance, due to my own personal journey and passion for mental health. Over the past two years, I have contributed to the field as a support worker, with a desire to empower others to overcome challenges, realize their aspirations and to achieve their goals. I aspire to elevate my impact further by undertaking a Bachelor of Social Work to further foster positive change in individuals' lives and advocate for mental health awareness.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a diverse range of interests, evidenced by my garage filled with various hobbies. While some passions may have been fleeting, my main interest lies in the art of crochet, a skill I have honed for around 8 months. With unfinished projects and a colourful array of yarn adorning every corner of my living space, I plan on learning to knit soon too.
A nurturing spirit extends to my home life, where I share my space with an array of pets- my two cats Ash and Lynx, my four birds Martini, Frostbite, Charlie and Pretzel, my snake Soba, and my fish.
I take great pride in being an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, embracing he/they pronouns. Through actively participating in queer events, I hope to contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.
