I have experience working as a mental health and disability support worker, as well as a background in aged care. Particularly working with individuals with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bi-polar, dementia, physical and intellectual disabilities. For me, the best part about this job is building relationships with participants and watching them grow, overcome barriers, and achieve their goals.
I am passionate about all things mental health. Through my own mental health journey and guiding others through theirs, I understand that mental health isn’t a straight road, that every individual is unique with their own strengths and values, and that through empowerment individuals can gain control, choice, and influence over their lives.
Being born and raised in Israel, I have grown up doing a lot of travelling and love visiting new places, meeting new people and learning about different cultures.
When I am not studying, some of my hobbies include living an active lifestyle, going to the gym, long walks, sunrises, spending time with friends and family (especially my ridgeback and kitten), and anything art related.

I am currently pursuing my Cert IV in Allied Health Assistance, due to my own personal journey and passion for mental health. Over the past two years, I have contributed to the field as a support worker, with a desire to empower others to overcome challenges, realize their aspirations and to achieve their goals. I aspire to elevate my impact further by undertaking a Bachelor of Social Work to further foster positive change in individuals' lives and advocate for mental health awareness.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a diverse range of interests, evidenced by my garage filled with various hobbies. While some passions may have been fleeting, my main interest lies in the art of crochet, a skill I have honed for around 8 months. With unfinished projects and a colourful array of yarn adorning every corner of my living space, I plan on learning to knit soon too.
A nurturing spirit extends to my home life, where I share my space with an array of pets- my two cats Ash and Lynx, my four birds Martini, Frostbite, Charlie and Pretzel, my snake Soba, and my fish.
I take great pride in being an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, embracing he/they pronouns. Through actively participating in queer events, I hope to contribute to creating a more inclusive and supportive environment for all.

I love staying fit and weight training at the gym, I enjoy being in the outdoors, fishing, camping and walking in nature. I am compassionate and outgoing.
I love to encourage and motivate people to try new things, no matter what walk of life you come from, I am here to listen to you and help you voice your concerns. I want you to be able to live a fulfilled life on your terms, allowing freedom of choice, with support and guidance.
I experience working with clients who have myotonic dystrophy, OCD, anxiety, and Schizophrenia. I have experience as a live in support worker, supporting day to day needs, community access, hygiene, and wheelchair transfers. I worked in the aged care sector for 5 years as a group fitness instructor and physio assistant, working with clients who have dementia or physical disabilities. I provided one-on-one emotional support and assisted with improving their quality of life through mobility.
I believe emotional support and meeting our spiritual needs is equally as important as physical support. It’s all about a healthy balance supporting the fundamentals of wellness. With that aside, I’m sure who ever I work with, we will have a laugh! After all, laughter is the best medicine.
