- Co-plan toward implementing goals and routines in line with your needs
- Refer you to services in the community that can build on your strengths and needs
- Support you to implement healthy routines and habits, building on your innate capacity
- Assist you to navigate social service and community systems, advocating when required
- Support in goals setting, planning for the future and setting up structures.
- Support parents and families to build their parenting capacity and connect with necessary supports
A Social Worker supports the individual while acknowledging the systems and structures impacting their current situation.
Our Social Worker Tara has:
- 20 years of combined experience working in the human services and education sectors
- Welcomes referrals from children, young people and adults, with a particular interest in supporting families
- Is a QLD registered teacher as well as an AASW registered Social Worker
- Has experience working in the NDIS sector as a Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach as well as a Mental Health Support Worker
- Has a thorough understanding of NDIS and NDIA processes and parameters
